JUSTICE in GUJRAT 2002 GODHRA RIOTS-- HAS THE JUSTICE BECOME A COMMODITY THAT THE COMMON MAN CAN NO LONGER AFFORD...

Today, SIT( Special investigation team) submitted its final report of 2002 GUJRAT RIOT MASSACRE. In its report it
charged chief Minister of Gujrat Mr. Narendra Modi with some serious allegations including destroying chief evidences, minutes of the meeting which were conducted at the time of the riots, making inciting statements to the mob etc.
Any person with some common sense, can tell what the truth is. All of us know who all are the prime accused in the case, any person who ever deposed or made an attempt to go against them is either dead or have changed their statements drastically. Even the police men who were at their duty and
the party's chief officials were brutally killing Muslim people, raping women, did false encounters.
In one of the brutal cases, the
abdomen of a pregnant Muslim women's abdomen was stashed &
teared apart and the foetus taken out and killed, and in the situation of total mayhem the women lay and died there in the pool of blood.

In another incident, Ehsan jafri, the then MLA was burnt alive by the mob in this residence in Gulbarg society a day after the
attack on sabarmati express in Godhra, just because he practiced Muslim religion. An investigation report found out that he kept calling other government officials and
other party members for the security as soon as he got the news that a mob is coming
after him. But there were direct orders from the top officials at that time not to pick up his call or to send any security. That is how our democracy functions. By electing people like the prime accused in this case, we truly demonstrate that
our its the death of Indian democracy.

As an Indian citizen, i refuse to live in this kind of society where there are no moral restraints and self conscious in people's heart.
when i heard that Hindus @ that time in Gujarat had brutally killed Muslims and raped Muslim women endlessly, i feel ashamed to call myself a Hindu.
I live in a secular country where by constitution every citizen is allowed to practice their religion equally and faithfully. But will it ever come out of the books and be actually implemented. On one hand we are talking about backing a seat in UNSC and being a very fast progressing economy, and on the other hand, we still have so biased opinions about religion the people and we refuse to come out that mindset.
The main question which arises today is will we get Justice now? or will it be another case where powerful people with great influences will get
away with this as well.

As an average Indian citizen, i m feeling outrageous of being denied justice again and again. why is it that we are made to believe again and again that the powerful people have the right to do everything and eventually will not even face a trail in their lives.
H.L.K Bhagat, the prime accused for 1984 anti Sikh riots, got away with all the allegations because of his powerful allegations and eventually died, even the trial was over long before the justice could be done.
After Jessica Lal Murder case, Arushi Talwar's brutal double murder case, Banda rape case, Its long time now and the time has come for Indian judiciary to prove themselves that they still make verdicts based on unbiased facts and is in-influential.

All these cases just force us to raise only 1 question:

HAS THE JUSTICE BECOME A COMMODITY THAT THE COMMON MAN CAN NO LONGER AFFORD...
